Legislation is now on its way to the governor’s desk that will amend the Small Games of Chance law to benefit local communities, nonprofit associations, charitable organizations and civic groups. House Bill 169 passed by a vote of 178-10 on concurrence and is on its way to the governor.
As chairman of the House Gaming Oversight Committee, I recognize the benefit of this legislation to communities all across Pennsylvania and I advocated strongly for the bill on the House floor.
